💡 “The person who is merely a ‘good’ worker… is valuable to his employer, and it is not to the employer’s interest to promote him. He is worth more where he is.”
– Wallace Wattles, The Science of Getting Rich
Being excellent at your job isn’t always a path to advancement—it can be a reason you’re held in place.
Your value goes beyond your current role.
The question is: are you growing for your career—or just performing for someone else’s gain?
“The person who is merely a ‘good’ worker… is valuable to his employer, and it is not to the employer’s interest to promote him. He is worth more where he is.”
I’m exploring this through the #67DayChallenge.
Day by day, step by step, choosing growth over comfort.

67dayChallenge: Read 10 pages every day
This is an activity that is a part of our 67dayChallenge to read 10 pages every day. This practice is designed to grow the mind and to develop a daily habit that anyone can do in their later stages of life.
As you read your book you should highlight passages that really spoke to you. Then save them in a database and then use them, so it sinks into your mind. In our program we post and use in lecture, speaking and content.
This activity was inspired by watching my Father’s mind deteriorate as he reaches 80 plus years old. I’m trying to get him to read 10 pages first thing in the morning to help clear up that brain fog. I’m not sure it works but at least it is something.
